After two home wins that have lifted City out of the drop zone for the first time in five months, it’s back on the road at the weekend with a trip to the Etihad Stadium.
This is the last game against a top flight side until Spurs at home on the final day of the season. Although many fans will regard the tie as a “free hit” it’s the Tigers who are in the better form at the moment. Man City, who sit fourth in the table, have only won one from their last 5 Premier League games.
Harry Maguire and Abel Hernandez were both replaced due to injury during the Boro game, and will be assessed for fitness this week. Tom Huddlestone will definitely be unavailable as he serves the last game of his three match ban.
There are no fresh injury concerns for Pep Guardiola following their midweek defeat away to Chelsea, although Gabriel Jesus and Bacary Sagna remain on the long-term injury list.
Unsurprisingly the home side are strong favourites with the bookies, with the Tigers as long as 16/1 with some.
