Development Review
Not the best of weeks for the under 23 side. Last Friday afternoon they went down 3-0 at
Barnsley in a Professional Development League match.
Then on Thursday night at a very cold and snowy North Ferriby a fairly young line up also went down 0-3 to an impressive Sunderland side in the Premier League Cup.  The side has a quick opportunity to bounce back though when the take on Nottingham Forest in the League on Monday.  This match is to be held at the Bishop Burton College training complex with kick off scheduled for 13:00.
The under 18 side had a better week winning 1-2 at Crewe Alexandra last Saturday morning.  Their next game is against Burnley on Saturday with kick off at 11:30 at Bishop Burton.
Adam Curry joined National League North Boston Town on loan last week and found the net in their 2-2 draw against Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Trophy.  Josh Clackstone and Dan Batty both made appearances for FC Halifax Town in their 3-3 draw against Eastleigh in their National League with Dan scoring to rescue the point.  Charlie Andrew was in goal for Pickering Town in their 2-2 draw against Bridlington Town in the NCEL Premier Division last Saturday.  Will Mannion has gone out on emergency loan to Plymouth Argyle of League 1.
