If there was still any doubt lingering as to whether City were in a relegation battle then last weekends 1-0 defeat against Sunderland will surely have given you all the evidence you need. City are in big trouble.

Only scoring in 1 of their last 7 matches and still conceding sloppy goals are ominous signs of a team only heading in one direction. The lack of activity or even urgency in the transfer market for a team struggling so desperately is also a worry – not what you would expect from a team perilously close to the relegation zone.

FA Cup action this weekend means the pressure is slightly off although 4,000 travelling fans will make it far from easy – clearly they don’t see the FA Cup as a ‘devalued’ competition…. It may well be the lowest crowd of the season also which is such a shame as cup games are normally the perfect opportunity to introduce new generations to the club. Despite our great cup runs in recent years including our first appearance in the FA Cup Final in 2014 apathy and annoyance at how Hull City is being run will be seen with a largely empty ground.

As a reminder, any fully paid up member aged 16 or over can be considered for nomination, provided they have been nominated by 2 other fully paid up members. It is recommended that any members potentially interested fully read and understand the Trust Election Policy, (available via our website), and pay particular attention to point 13-22 of the Policy.

We welcome applications from all Members fulfilling the criteria above, but as we have previously stated, we would particular be keen in any Member with an interest in assisting in producing our Weekly Newsletter and other general written media publications for the Trust.

The amended Election Nomination form can be downloaded here in Word format, and needs to be received by our Secretary by Saturday 24th February, 2018 (So you have plenty of time to consider applying).

The Senior Tigers have asked for people to search the attic, spare bedroom, garage, etc for all items associated with the Tigers.

At the meeting the Board agreed an on-going strategy for how to interact with the club at Supporters Committee meetings for the benefit of fans.

The minutes of the meeting will be published shortly and will be available (along with all previous meetings) here.

(We note that at time of going to press the Club have yet to issue the Supporters Committee minutes from the 14th December)

Development Review
The under 18 side had a good home win last Saturday when they beat Sheffield United 3-1 at Bishop Burton College.  Mason Wilson-Rhiney, Keane Lewis-Potter and Josh Thacker all found the net for the young Tigers.

The side is at home again on Saturday when they take on Bolton Wanderers at Bishop Burton.  Please note that the kick off time for this fixture is 12:00.

On Monday the under 23 side travelled down to Exeter City in the Premier League Cup. They managed to come away with a 1-1 draw after Liam Edwards’ equalising goal.  The next game is today (Friday) away at Birmingham City in the Professional Development League.
