City rounded off a forgettable season with a 1-1 draw away at Brentford in front of a decent away following. Jarrod Bowen rediscovered his goal scoring boots from the first half of the season and Daniel Batty made his first team debut.
Now it’s time for a break from domestic football over the summer with a World Cup to look forward to. You won’t hear from us every week but we will be in touch if there is anything important to tell you. Rest assured we will still be representing supporters on important issues during the summer.

As mentioned last week, HCST Directors Sue Dyson and Geoff Bielby were in London last Thursday (3rd) for two meetings.

The first of these was the Supporters Direct EFL Trust Meeting
Subjects discussed including the SD /MP’s Letter Campaign re: EFL Conduct of Owners consultation.
As well as HCST, Blackpool, Birmingham, Charlton, Cardiff, Barnsley & Scunthorpe Supporters Trust representatives were in attendance.

The second meeting was for the FSF EFL Fans Group.

Subjects discussed included Stand Up For Choice, Structured Dialogue, Late Notice Postponements & Ticket Pricing.
The meeting was attended by Trust reps from Aston Villa, Barnsley, Birmingham, Blackpool, Brentford, Cardiff, Colchester and Scunthorpe, as well as HCST.

Supporters Direct National Council
HCST Chairman Geoff Bielby attended his first meeting as a member of the SD National Council on Tuesday (8th).

The meeting was attended by fellow Councillors and SD Board members from Exeter Leeds Blackpool Cardiff Coventry Spurs and Wimbledon plus Senior SD officials.
A number of topics were discussed including the Regulatory Reform Campaign, and there was a detailed update from Kat Law one of the two Fans Representatives on the FA Council.
Hull City Shirt Auction in aid of Trawler Memorial Groups
HCST are pleased to announce that some of the shirts worn at the Chelsea game commemorating the Triple Trawler disaster are to be sold.

The shirts have kindly been donated by the Club to the Triple Trawler Memorial Group who asked the Trust to advise them. We in turn have asked Les Motherby of @HullCityKits to organise the auction.
The funds raised will be split between the four Trawler Memorial Groups

This is an excellent example of the Trust working with the Club and other Fans organisations to benefit the local community and hopefully will lead to many more joint ventures.
EFL – FSF Survey ‘Stand up for Choice’
Linked to the recent Parliamentary Petition on Safe Standing passing 100,000 signatures, the EFL & FSF have conducting a survey of fans view on having standing areas at venues.

This survey has recently closed and the information gleaned will be used to make representations to the EFL.

After a 2nd defeat in 3 games, Hull City Ladies still need 2 points to clinch the league title with 2 games to play.

A 0-1 defeat at Newcastle meant the champagne was placed on ice for the Tigresses but a home game this Sunday against 2nd bottom Mossley Hill provides a real opportunity to get promotion sewn up this week.
As usual, it’s a 2pm kick off at the Hull University playing ground on Inglemire Lane where hopefully a bumper crowd will see the Ladies popping their champagne corks at last
