We want players to represent us in an upcoming Charity Football Tournament in aid of Megan’s Dream Fund.
The Hull City community were saddened by the news last week of young City fan Megan Pratt losing her battle with cancer. Megan inspired City fans to sing her name in support for her battle, and a minute’s applause was observed ahead of our game with Chelsea at the weekend.
Megan’s Dream Fund was set up to support Megan and her family. A charity 6-a-side football tournament in aid of the fund will take place on Sunday 13th November. Some of the funds raised will go towards Candlelighters as well as Eckersley House, who supported Megan and her family.
A HCST team will compete in the tournament against teams from other Hull City fan groups as well as two teams of ‘Ex-Tigers’ led by City legend Dean Windass.
Our Vice-Chairman Ryan Richardson and Secretary Richard Mathers will be playing for the HCST team, and we want some of our members to join them. So if you fancy pitting yourself against ‘Deano’ and friends, please consider playing for this great cause and representing your trust at the same time.
To get involved, please e-mail Ryan on ryan.richardson@hullcityst.com or contact us on Facebook or Twitter.
Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions, participation in the tournament is limited to males aged 17 or over.
