There will be a minute’s applause in the 28th minute of Saturday’s match in memory of City fan James Moorfoot.
The following message has been shared by his football club Langtoft AFC:
“James Moorfoot tragically passed away suddenly and unexpectedly whilst playing football for Langtoft AFC on Saturday February 11th. James was 28 years old. He was a season ticket holder at the KCOM Stadium.
Hull City have very kindly agreed to a dedication for James during the 28th minute of Saturday’s match vs Burnley. The dedication will be in the form of a picture of James along with a message from those closest to him which will be displayed on the large screens inside the stadium.
We really want to get this message out and hope you will support this. It is my hope that if this can be shared widely enough before Saturday on enough social media platforms that we can get a rounding minutes applause and give James the send-off he deserves.”
