Hull City Round Up, 8th December, 2014

Critics were queuing up to have a pop at City this weekend after an uninspiring 0-0 draw at home to West Bromwich Albion.

In the Hull Daily Mail, Peter Swan bemoaned the team’s lack of creativity, and claimed that opponents had now ‘sussed out’ City’s midfield.

The Yorkshire Post found little positive to say about a ‘dire’ affair at the KC, suggesting that the game was indicative of the lack of overall quality in the Premier League nowadays.

Les Motherby of Amber Nectar game the gave a far more entertaining write up than it truly deserved, noting how City were being hampered by their fear of defeat.
